The Wander Man Revisits 2011 begins…

We make our 1st stop of the eastern portion of the 2011 edition of The Wander Man Revisits tour tomorrow night at Black Pirates, 215 Red River Road, Thunder Bay, Ontario, and I look forward to seeing you there. With 5 stops in Ontario over the next couple of weeks I’m excited to have a chance to catch up with old friends and make some new ones too as we pay a few return visits and introduce a couple of new venues to Harwill music on the way to the east coast and our good friends in the Maritimes later this month.

I’m at a truck stop in Dryden, ON, as I write you this short note and I’m happy to be here and can’t wait to play you a few songs.  Koko is in good spirits as always and the trip across the prairies has featured fair weather and family visits, a couple of my favorite items on the roadside menu, and the chronic pain in my back has been somewhat eased by an early morning visit to a Winnipeg chiropractor. This is my 4th tour across the country as a solo artist, and I can’t tell you how good it is to have friends waiting to greet me along the way and my thanks in advance to each and every one of you for being there, you make it all worthwhile and it’s my privilige to entertain you for a few short hours as I pass your way on this extended sojourn across this beautiful country we share.

With some excellent recording sessions completed prior to our departure last weekend progress on the next album release continues unabated and I’ve been listening to a rough mix of what is easily my best work so far between extended bouts of satellite radio on the highways this week and I’m real pleased with the work we’ve done. I’ll keep you posted regarding progress and completion/availability dates for the new recordings and look forward to hearing your thoughts once you’ve had an opportunity to listen to it.

As always thanks again for checking the calendar here for the latest touring information and see you at the show!
