After enjoying a too-short weekend in Grande Prairie, AB., with a few of the boys from back home ~ a shout out to Paul & Mark from Bishop’s Falls, NL, & thanks for passing along our best to Tina & the gang at Kelly’s Pub ~ at the marvelous Skylark Lounge, it’s back to Devon and the return of the Acoustic Open Mic this weekend. I want to send a thanks kindly out to David and the good folks at the Grande Prairie Inn for the fabulous hospitality, excellent service, and good food!
Featuring solid acoustics and a warm-and-welcoming audience, I look forward to seeing you all again.
With long-distance touring now completed for this season, I’m hoping you’ll join us at PALS Pub in the Devon Hotel, #1 Huron St., Devon, AB, for the Saturday afternoon Acoustic Open Mic beginning this Saturday, September 22nd, 2012, at 4PM, and running every Saturday afternoon this fall until further notice. A friendly spot with a solid house PA, as your host and sound-man I’ll be there with a first-in/first-on sign-up sheet a half hour before starting time and I look forward to a howdy-and-shake.
I’d also like to pass along my best wishes for a happy and successful New Year to all of my Jewish friends.
