The show tonight at the Cloak & Dagger Pub, 394 College St., Toronto, ON, with good friend and fellow Americana troubadour Mark Ripp set for a 9pm start will be my last stop in and around the GTA prior to departing for the long and winding road west. Tonight’s show is my first stop into the Cloak & Dagger and I’ve heard nothing but good things about the local fare on tap and very much look forward to seeing you there.
Did I mention that Mark Ripp also engineered, mixed, and mastered the ‘Live @ Rebas Cafe’ album?
Thursday night will find me on stage at 8pm along the north shore of the mighty inland sea when I pay a return visit to my very good friends at Rossport, ON. This is the first time that I’ve stopped more than once in the same year and I’m tickled to be able to fit another visit to my favorite place on the shores of Lake Superior into the calendar and I can’t wait to spend another evening with some of the best friends I’ve made in the music business!
A place I always look forward to returning to, it would certainly be a candidate for a future live concert recording.
I’ll be ending the week with a show on Saturday night at 8pm in Pappy’s Cafe, at Wabigoon, ON, a first stop for me and a northwestern Ontario roots music venue under new management that I’m excited to be invited to support! Reputed to feature an intimate atmosphere and a listening audience, I can’t wait to pay my first visit to this highly rated roots music establishment.
Always grateful to have a new place to support that supports live music and wishing them nothing but the best!
To everybody who’s made it out to the shows in and around the GTA over the last week I send my sincerest thanks, you’ve been great and I couldn’t be me without you. Thanks for making it possible for me to continue to live up to the mandate, I’m grateful to earn your support and proud to be your friend, and I hope to stay out here doing this for you for the rest of my life!
No offense to the folks up here chasing it on the government dime, but there ain’t no life that beats this working man’s life!
Thanks very much as always for checking the calendar here for the latest updates and see you at the show.
