For the week ending Tuesday, January 17, 2012, the album ‘Somethings Old, New, Borrowed & True’ has been ranked #6 on the Folk/Roots/Blues chart at CFBX 92.5FM Kamloops.  This is the first reported charting position for the new record and I’m thrilled that the good people of British Columbia are enjoying the album and I want to send my personal ‘thank you very much’ down to the friends and fans at ‘The X’ for the assist, because it wouldn’t be possible without their, and your, continuing support.

Let’s hope this is the first of many similar reports to come on behalf of the new record and thanks once again to everyone for being there! Thanks very kindly for joining us for this months’ edition of the ‘Troubadours & Tales’ concert series featuring my very special guest and good friend Ms. Terry Morrison this Wednesday, November 2, 2011, at 8 pm. I’m always excited to return for the monthly event featuring Alberta singer/songwriters and independent recording artists performing solo in ‘The Den’ lounge at the Nisku Inn, 1101 – 4 Street, Nisku, AB, on the 1st Wednesday of each month and I look forward to seeing you at the show!

Boots & Guitar

Joined by the lovely and talented Ms. Sarah Burton we’re scheduled to take the stage for a 2-set performance beginning at 9pm and we look forward to seeing you there! This will be my first stop into The Hideout, a new home for roots music at Red Deer, and having heard nothing but good things about the place I’m looking forward to checking it out.

Sarah Burton is a friend and critically acclaimed performing songwriter from Toronto, ON, who’s touring across Alberta over the next couple of weeks and I’m more than pleased to be able to spend some time on stage with her. Her latest album is titled ‘Mayflower’ and she’ll be performing songs from it along with some new stuff while I do my best not get in the way as her accompanist on harmony vocals and guitar. She’ll return the favor on my songs and having worked with her on stage and in the recording studio I’m positive you’re going to enjoy her show as well as what she brings to mine.
